MEU’s President, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hieleh, has made a wide ranging academic and administrative appointments and reappointments in most faculties, administrative departments, training centers, and offices at the University.
The decision relates to the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Media, the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the Faculty of Business.
In addition, the decision also relates to the second and other tiers of administrative positions. It covers most chairs of academic departments and heads of sections and units such as the International Affairs Office, the Health Department, the Language Center, the Purchasing Department, and the Public Relations Department.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
