AMMAN- MEU has participated in the 7thInternational Conference of Consumer Electronics in Berlin, Germany (ICCE-Berlin), recently held with the participation of a number of researchers and electronic specialists in the world. In this conference, Dr. Hisham Abusaymeh, Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, presented a discussion paper entitled “Enhanced AODV Based on Home Sensors Power”. The paper provided recommendations regarding the importance of supporting researches that serve the consumer, especially research that can be applied, and made available to the consumers at lower prices. It also called for encouraging applied research that would be conducted in cooperation with international companies interested in smart devices.
During the conference, many discussion papers were presented. They discussed the most prominent ideas and studies regarding smart devices and their appropriateness for the consumer, ways of future cooperation and partnership in the field of research, progress achieved in supporting research of consumer service, and the extent of efficiency of all smart home devices connected to the internet, smart phones, and wireless networks that work on serving the consumers around the world.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
