MEU’s Chairman of Board of Trustees Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin has met at his office academic members who received scholarships from the University to study abroad and now are working at the University. The meeting was attended by MEU President Prof Mohammad Al Hilleh and Vice President Prof Talal Aburji and addressed issues related to improving the University and enhancing the services provided to the students.
The meeting also highlighted issues related to the University’s efforts to receive prestigious positions among universities by being committed to quality standards, encouraging faculties to develop their achievements in scientific research, providing a suitable environment for research, and granting scholarships to study abroad.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
