AMMAN- MEU has participated in the 20th Congress of the Scientific Association of the Pharmacy Colleges in the Arab World which was held recently at Isra University, Amman and attended by a number of Deans of pharmacy colleges in addition to a group of experts in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences from several countries.
MEU’s Vice President/ Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Talal Aburjai, has represented the University in this conference and delivered a discussion paper on the “Role of Alternative Medicine in Curing Cancer.” At the end of the conference, Dr. Aburjai has been honored in recognition of his effective participation at the conference and for his contribution in the fields of academic and scientific research.
It is worth mentioning that this conference came in line with the 5th Conference of the Association of Jordanian Faculties of Pharmacy and the 2nd International Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
