AMMAN- Middle East University (MEU) and Al-Haramain Hospital have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to offer training programs to students of the Faulty of Pharmacy and to provide health services to students and staff at the University. The memo was signed by MEU’s Vice-President for Scientific Faculties, Prof. Talal Aburji, and the Hospital’s Director of Public Relation, Eng. Muhammad Quqaza.
According to the MOU, the two sides will cooperate in scientific and cultural fields by providing training to students of the Faulty of Pharmacy in all Hospital departments and central pharmacies, organizing joint activities, providing medical services to students and University’s cadres, providing trained cadres, and providing discounts on medical bills for work injuries and for cases that are not included in the health insurance.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
