AMMAN- MEU has achieved excellent results in the National Proficiency Test, set by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Institutions (HEAC) for students expected to graduate from Jordanian universities at the end of first semester of the academic year 2017/2018.
MEU’s Faculties of Law and Educational Sciences took the first place on the exam while the University achieved the first place in the following majors: Radio and Television/ Faculty of Media and Civil Engineering/ Faculty of Engineering. Second place was gained in the fields of English Language and Literature, Architecture engineering, Graphic Design and Tourism Management. Furthermore, the University achieved advanced ranking in the fields of Pharmacy and Computer Sciences. It is worth mentioning that the University ranked seventh in the category level and ranked 14 out of 43 at the Jordanian universities level.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
