AMMAN- MEU’s Faculty of Information Technology has launched a contest entitled “The Fastest Programmer” to encourage students’ pioneering and creative initiatives and to develop their talents and skills.
Attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Abd Alrahman Abu Arquob, and a number of teaching and administrative staff in addition to students, the contest included the formation of teams of two students who performed some tasks using programming languages. The winning team would be the one to accomplish these tasks as soon as possible. The team consisting of students Zaid Abu Alia and Leith Hefnawi has won the first place.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
