AMMAN- In support for Madaba Governorate as a creative city, MEU has contributed in establishing a GIS platform for archaeological sites.In this regard, MEU and Madaba Municipality has conducted a collaboration agreement to provide initiatives and consultation for several community institutions in addition to establishing comprehensive strategy to achieve sustainable tourism development in Madaba Governorate.
The agreement was signed by the University President, Mohammed Al-Haila, and Madaba Mayor, Eng. Ahmad Al-Azayda, in the presence of MEU’s Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Community Service Committee Dr. Sana Sheqwara in addition to other MEU and Madaba Governorate’s officials.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
