AMMAN- A delegation from McGill University, Canada, has visited MEU and met with Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin to discuss academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides. Attended by the University President Prof. Mohamed Al-Haila, the two sides discussed ways of cultural and academic cooperation, establishing a community service center inside the University and providing grants and facilities to MEU students and members of the local community by the Canadian University. McGill University is one of the most prestigious universities in Canada and is ranked 32th in the QS World University Ranking.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
