AMMAN- In pursuit of enhancing and developing scientific and research cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Middle East University (MEU) and five Turkish Universities and academic institutions; namely, Istanbul University, Sakarya University, Istanbul Aydın University, Fatih Sultan Mehmet University and World of Elites for Academic Services. These agreements were signed on the sidelines of the Turkish- Arab Euro-Asian Conference for Universities Presidents. Prof. Mahmoud Al-Wadi, MEU Vice President of Humanities Faculties, has represented the University in this conference. According to the agreements, joint projects and programs will be developed and implemented in the Faculty of Business in addition to exchanging faculty members, students, information and expertise and collaborating in the field of scientific research.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
