AMMAN- MEU and Al-Quds Open University have concluded a joint cooperation agreement to foster the research and academic cooperation between the two sides to serve the interest of higher education in Jordan and Palestine. The agreement was signed by MEU Vice-President of Humanities Faculties, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Wadi, and Al-Quds Open University President, Prof. Yunus Amro, in the presence of MEU Chancellor, Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin.
Under this agreement, the two sides agreed on several issues including, exchanging faculty members, delivering joint lectures, exchanging information and expertise in addition to innovating specializations and joint programs on the Master’s Level.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
