•The employee should have the medical form (72) signed by the dean of the faculty or the head of the department, showing the time of visiting and leaving Health Care Department.
•The employee goes to the reception section, where the receptionist prepares the medical file for treatment. Afterward, the employee waits in the waiting room for his/her turn to see the doctors.
•The receptionist records the following information in the employee’s file: name, date and employee’s university number.
• The department's doctors conduct the medical examination and prescribe the appropriate medicine and recommendation, and decide whether to give the patient a sick leave or not, or should he/ she be transferred to approved doctors and hospitals.
• The patient dispenses the medicine from the department's pharmacy or from accredited pharmacies in accordance to the medical form.
• The medical file is returned to the reception section to be recorded in the daily patient’s record with the given recommendation.
• The file is sent to the reception section to be saved in the files' cabinet within a special system.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
