Introduction
The Library Department established at the beginning of the founding of the university in 2005. It is a distinguished university library that seeks to achieve its vision derived from the university’s vision and its focus is “excellence in providing direct and electronic library services in order to achieve a competitive university environment” through its mission that is concerned with and emphasizes “providing the latest diverse resources of information.” To contribute to creating a creative environment in the field of scientific research for students, members of the academic and administrative staff, and the local community, in a way that suits the needs of scientific research.
The library organizes its holdings of information resources through international cataloging and classification systems. The library uses Anglo-American cataloging rules, Dewey Decimal Classification System (22nd edition), and the International Standard for Bibliographic Description (ISBD) so that information resources are ready on the shelves and available In the hands of researchers and patrons.
