AMMAN – Student Moath Al Anati of the Faculty of Media at Middle East University launched the “In Arabic” campaign with the aim to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the Arabic language.
Al Anati highlighted the dangers of neglecting the Arabic language, which is especially apparent when observing the relationship that younger Jordanians have with their mother tongue. The campaign also aims to encourage the community to read Arabic books more often and dedicate more effort to practicing their Arabic script techniques. The campaign was supervised by Dr. Sara Nasereddin, the Assistant to the President for International Relations.
The campaign is part of a series of creative initiatives implemented by the students of the Public Relations and Promotion course at the Faculty of Media. The course supports noble values and adheres to MEU’s vision and mission to prepare future leaders.
