Bachelor of Educational Technology

This program focuses mainly on digitizing the educational process and computizing the educational content by integrating digital technology into the educational environment (both the curricular and the extracurricular) in order to render it into an interactive, futuristic environment based on technology and in keeping with the needs of this age.

In addition, this program includes both applied and theoretical courses that enable the student to acquire the skills needed for designing and producing digital content in an interactive learning environment, where the entirety of the educational-practical elements integrate.

The Educational Technology major also helps students acquire the skills they need to adapt to the digital age, and enables educational institutions to transfer the educational process into virtual learning, so as to enhance learning and keep learning methodology up to date.

     Where and what do educational technology graduates work?

Studying the discipline of Educational Technology enables graduates to work in diverse areas and different sectors, in the following roles:

  • A teacher specialized in programming learning software and media using different learning technologies.
  • A director or an officer at a center for learning resources or an e-learning management systems units.
  • A designer and producer of multimedia in learning computation companies and others.
  • An evaluator and developer of software at e-learning centers in diverse educational institutions.
  • In digital photography as a digital photo editor using photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere and others.
  • In software development companies in general, and in companies that develop learning software in particular.
  • In vocational training.
