Amman: ACS Architecture in Creative Space Magazine has published projects for a number of students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Middle East University, demonstrating the advanced level of the university’s students in understanding and accommodating the challenges of modern society and its architectural requirements.
The projects of Mohammed Moussa, Dina Al-Nazer, and Lian Blue have been included in visitor centres for archaeological sites in the Ain Ghazal area, as well as in reconstruction projects and concepts, such as the reconstruction of the displaced village of Al Dawaima in Hebron.
According to Dr. Shaden Abu Safiya, supervisor of the projects and head of the Department of Architecture, the students’ projects have made significant contributions to the field of architecture, as evidenced by their publication in prominent architectural magazines.
The students themselves noted that exposure to diverse design methods and contextual challenges broadened their architectural horizons and encouraged critical thinking on the role of architecture in shaping society.
