Amman: The Faculty of Media at Middle East University has been invited to participate in the panel of arbitrators for the Arab Reading Challenge, which is being held in the State of Qatar.
The project, which was initiated by the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was represented by faculty member Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rajabi, in a clear illustration of the university encouraging academic and administrative staff members to engage with various projects, activities, and programmes at the local and regional levels.
Regarding his role in evaluating the initiative, Al-Rajabi asserted that the significance of such an endeavour in a pioneering Arab project lies in the act of reading and its capacity to foster hope for the nation, prevent the recurrence of dark periods in history, and encourage the intellectual development of children.
