Amman: Approximately one hundred pharmacists representing numerous medical institutions commended the experience of the Mini Nutrition Diploma, which was launched by the Consultancy, Training, and Language Centre at Middle East University in collaboration with Al-Iman Pharmaceutical Warehouse Company.
The month-long diploma programme focuses on a range of cognitive, functional, and diagnostic competencies related to patients. It is supervised by a number of specialists, employers, and academics who have adopted the most advanced teaching and practical models.
As a matter of fact, the introduction of the mini diploma represents a key initiative of the university, offering a valuable avenue for knowledge dissemination and human capital investment. Furthermore, it provides a dynamic environment conducive to fostering innovation.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Anis Al Mansour, Director of the Centre, who stated that the mini diploma encompassed a range of topics, including the fundamentals of nutrition, the impact of diet on disease prevention and management, and the practical applications of nutrition science in daily pharmacy practice. This would enable pharmacists to gain a deeper understanding of how nutrition affects public health and subsequently integrate this knowledge into their professional practices.
In a statement released by the company, Dr. Alaa Issa, the Marketing and Sales Manager, asserted that the diploma programme represents a fruitful collaboration with a distinguished academic institution that recognises the significance of promoting community health and well-being.
