Amman: In a meeting with the President of Middle East University, Prof. Ali Saleh Hussein, President of Iraqi University, commended the institution’s academic standards, its esteemed reputation, and its pivotal role in providing an exemplary educational experience.
He further commented, “Following an in-depth examination of the university, it became evident that it has made significant progress in attaining academic excellence and has established a commendable reputation within the research and academic communities. Consequently, we selected it as the optimal choice that aligns with our aspirations,” as revealed during the visit of an Iraqi delegation, which included the Cultural Counsellor in Jordan, Prof. Khairuddin Al-Amin, and other specialists.
In reception of the delegation, the members were welcomed by the Vice President of the University, Prof. Ahmed Al-Louzi; the Dean of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Ahmed Mousa; the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Hisham Abu Saima; and the Director of the Legal Department, Prof. Anis Al-Mansour.
Prof. Al-Mahadin stated that the university is dedicated to equipping its students and graduates with the cognitive abilities necessary for success in their chosen fields. To this end, the university offers a comprehensive range of academic and training programmes that facilitate integration into effective and influential technical and applied environments, particularly through the network of local and international partners with whom the university has formed strong relationships with employers and specialists.
She further highlighted that the university has a diverse range of collaborative and hosted programmes with esteemed British universities, including the Universities of Bedfordshire and Strathclyde. She emphasised that all faculties of the university have responded to the call for advancement in academic rigour and structural excellence, which would not have been achieved without their dedicated efforts. These efforts were inspired by His Majesty King Abdullah II and his vision for development and modernisation in science and knowledge. This vision has given the university a distinct advantage in obtaining numerous invaluable knowledge privileges.
