Amman: The participants from schools in the capital and Madaba expressed their experience of the summer club, which encouraged them to think critically, creatively, and ethically. Furthermore, it broadened their horizons by exposing them to various fields of study and practical applications. This was done in order to empower them to become forward-looking, innovative individuals, ready to face the challenges of the future. They considered this to be a valuable opportunity for the future.
The conclusion ceremony of the month-long summer club was attended by the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin; the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Hisham Abu Saima; the Director of the Consultancy, Training, and Language Centre, Prof. Anis Al Mansour; the Director of the STEAM Village, Engineer Banan Al Banna; and the students’ families.
The summer programme concentrated on four key areas: entrepreneurship, space science, cybersecurity, and digital content creation.
Prof. Al-Mansour stated that the summer club offered its participants a hands-on method for developing business plans, fostering a comprehensive understanding of economic principles and innovation, as well as stimulating their interest in the universe and the future of space travel. Additionally, it encouraged them to contemplate the potential implications of space science for the future of humanity.
Furthermore, the cybersecurity track provided insight into pivotal matters pertaining to digital security, including information security threats and hacking. In addition, the digital content track offered a forum for creative expression, enabling students to convey their ideas and narratives through the construction of compelling narratives and the creation of engaging multimedia content.
