Amman: The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University, Senator Dr. Yaqoub Nasereddin, will preside over the graduation ceremony of the Silver Jubilee cohort in the presence of the university’s president, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, as well as the deans of faculties, academic staff members, and the families of students.
The cohort’s name coincides with the Kingdom’s 25th anniversary celebrations of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s assumption of his constitutional powers. It is also in honour of the university’s contribution to the great Jordanian achievement during the years of his wise rule.
This cohort constitutes the eighteenth academic year of study for the master’s students, the fourth for those pursuing a higher diploma, and the fifteenth for the bachelor’s students, commencing the academic year 2023-2024.
The university has announced the venue and date of the forthcoming graduation ceremony. This will be held at Al-Hussein Youth City (Culture Palace) for students in their first, second, and summer classes (anticipated to graduate). The ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in two sessions: graduates from the faculties of business, engineering, arts, and educational sciences will begin at 12:00 pm, while graduates from the faculties of law, information technology, media, architecture, and design will begin at 4:00 pm.
The graduation ceremony for the Master’s, Higher Diploma, and Bachelor of Pharmacy students is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
