A delegation from Middle East University, headed by the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin, convened with the Governor of the Giza District, His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Al-Barizat, with the objective of advancing bilateral partnership paths in social, economic, and educational aspects.
The proceedings were attended by the university’s legal advisor, Prof. Anis Al-Mansour; the Director of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Kamal Fraij; the Head of Safety and Security Division, Mr. Alaa Mekdad; and representatives of the university.
The partnership enables the university to develop academic programmes and research initiatives that address specific needs and challenges faced by the Giza District. This is achieved by aligning knowledge tracks and curricula with local trends and community needs.
Dr. Nasereddin stated that the university is interested in pursuing joint research projects pertaining to urban planning, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure development. He further highlighted the university’s social responsibilities to contribute to the wellbeing of the surrounding communities, which makes it a focal point of attention. The institution is committed to implementing His Majesty the King’s visions related to public-private partnership programmes, with a particular focus on human resource development and innovation.
In response, Mr. Al-Barizat asserted that Middle East University is an institution with the potential to facilitate constructive change in the region. He further suggested that the university’s partnerships, when productive and influential, can inspire a commitment to nation-building, which aligns with the objectives of the Giza District.
