Amman: Middle East University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Al-Muwakha Logistics and Telecommunications Company (Mada) with the objective of facilitating the transformation of students’ knowledge into advanced digital skills.
The university maintains a pace of advancement commensurate with the developments of the Industrial Revolution, digital transformation, technological orientation, and societal concerns. Its mission is to educate and prepare outstanding students, to conduct scientific research, and to provide community services.
The agreement was formalised through the signature of Dr. Ayman Al-Khazaleh, Dean of Student Affairs at the University, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Saleh, General Manager of Mada.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Khazaleh, in the presence of his assistant Nadia Nasereddin and the Director of the Information Technology Department, Engineer Raed Al-Lahham, elucidated that universities serve as institutions for the advancement of intellectual leadership and the generation of novel concepts. They possess the capacity to engage in a critical examination of societal trends and technological progress and their potential implications. He emphasized the significance of equipping students with advanced competencies that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential.
In response, Al-Saleh indicated that the company is interested in developing effective and sustainable collaborative relationships with institutions that recognise the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial and innovative community environment. He highlighted that the university represents an optimal choice for such a partnership, noting that the Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate direct engagement between students and the company’s initiatives and promotional campaigns.
