Amman: The conclusion of the Middle East University volleyball tournament, which witnessed the participation of seventy students, was marked by a competitive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of cooperation and sporting excellence.
The tournament was organised under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs and adopted the direct elimination system, where the first-place title was awarded to the 1st team from the Faculty of Information Technology following their victory in the final match against the second-place team from the same faculty.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, Rabhi Arafat and Zainab Al-Nuaimi were selected as the best male and female players, respectively. This selection was made in honour of their outstanding brilliance and effective contributions to raising the level of competitive performance.
In addition, it was disclosed that a sports team has been established to represent the university in external tournaments.This tournament is in alignment with the university’s vision to cultivate students’ sportsmanship, enhance their individual and collective competencies, and promote the values of discipline and teamwork.
