
The football pentathlon tournament, organised by the Sports Activity Division at the Deanship of Student Affairs at Middle East University, concluded.
The tournament, which was held under the supervision of referees approved by the Jordanian Football Federation according to the knockout system, witnessed the participation of eight private universities, warmly welcomed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Ali Al-Nsour.
The matches resulted in Middle East University defeating the German Jordanian University with a score of 4-2, Petra University beating the Amman Ahlia University with a score of 2-1, Zarqa University beating the Asraa University with a score of 5-2, and Zaytuna University defeating the Applied Sciences University on penalties.
In the semi-finals, the teams of Middle East University, Petra, Zarqa University, and Zaytoona University qualified for the final, with Zaytoona University and Zarqa University reaching the final.
The final match concluded in a tied score, subsequently decided by penalty kicks in favour of Zarqa University with a score of (5-4). Following the conclusion of the tournament, the victors were honoured by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yousef Malkia, amidst a significant interaction with the students.
