
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Dr Yassin Al-Halil, honoured the student Fahad Al-Subaihi, a student from the Faculty of Business at Middle East University, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, in a ceremony organised by the Sons of the Great Arab Revolution Club on the occasion of the 63rd birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, and in recognition of Jordanian sports heroes who raised the national flag in international forums.
Previously, the student Al-Subaihi won several international awards, including the gold medal in the Asian Taekwondo Championship, and was crowned with his university in the Universities Union Championship held at Amman Ahlia University.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Sons of the Great Arab Revolution Club, the Director of Youth Clubs and Organisations, and the Director of the Capital Youth Directorate, in addition to a number of deans of student affairs at Jordanian universities.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Yassin Al-Halil presented shields to the honoured athletes, in recognition of their outstanding performance and their efforts to raise the name of Jordan in international sports forums.
