
During the fourth edition of the Crown Prince Award for the best government services application, 352 students from 25 Jordanian universities and colleges competed, submitting 115 application ideas, of which 20 projects qualified for the final stage, resulting in the selection of the top ten innovative projects.
The students Hala Ismail and Alisar Al-Muhaysen from the Faculty of Information Technology at the university made an outstanding achievement by winning second place for their project “Your Guide App”, an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to provide accurate answers about government services through a simplified dialogue interface and clear instructions, covering various procedures, from passport renewal to business licensing.
Speaking on the occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Prof. Mohammed Atir, expressed his pride in this achievement, noting that it reflects the excellence of the faculty’s students and their ability to innovate in the digital fields. He emphasised the university’s commitment to supporting talents and providing a stimulating academic environment for creativity and technical development, which contributes to building an advanced digital future in Jordan.
