Amman: A programme of entrepreneurial training, initiated by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Middle East University, has provided a series of activities designed to simulate an investment environment for new ideas and project-based learning.
The programme’s main objective is to foster entrepreneurship, which is regarded as a key driver of economic growth and a means of addressing social and environmental challenges through the development of sustainable business models.
The three-day programme encouraged students to adopt a more lateral approach to problem-solving and to question the status quo. The programme included design thinking workshops and innovation labs, which enabled students to develop creative solutions to address issues in an innovative manner.
The programme included three distinct tracks, each presented by a different institution. The first track, entitled “Business and Business Plans,” was presented by Mr. Samer Badie Abdel Dayem. The second track, entitled “Digital Content Creation,” was presented by Al Rowad Academy for Training and Consultancy. The third and final track, entitled “Ready for Tomorrow,” was presented by the Business and Professional Women Association.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment. Its mission is to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, support startups, and drive economic growth.
