Middle East University, established in 2005, is a distinguished Jordanian university offering a variety of highly demanded Master’s and Bachelor’s degree-granting programmes. Located a few kilometers away from Amman and near Queen Alia International Airport, MEU began granting postgraduate degrees in 11 different majors since its inception, and boasts 2,978 graduates to date. MEU’s undergraduate programme, which launched in the 2008/2009 academic year, has produced 4,214 successful alumni, and offers 21 majors.

Middle East University’s global reputation has allowed for the forging of academic partnerships with prestigious international universities. The University works in partnership with the British University of Bedfordshire to host accredited programmes on MEU’s campus, jointly granting various academic degrees in multiple majors. Similarly, MEU established a joint pharmacy programme with the University of Strathclyde, which currently runs the top ranked pharmacy programme in the United Kingdom. The two partnerships are but a clear and salient attestation to the University’s prestigious reputation on a local and international scale.

The University provides an advanced service network and employs a state-of-the-art security system. It constantly seeks to develop and diversify its facilities, which are equipped with the latest educational technology and are well-suited to the needs of students with disabilities.

The University’s dedication to excellence led to its acquiring of the ISO 9001:2015 and the Quality Assurance Certificate (Golden Level) from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions for educational institutions and academic programmes for the Faculty of Law.
