Amman: At an international conference organised by the Union of Arab Universities, the Association of Chinese Universities, Ajloun National University, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, Middle East University presented its vision on artificial intelligence technology to 50 Arab and international universities.
The university was represented by Mohammed Aliwat, a student of the Faculty of Information Technology who had participated in several training programmes provided by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. These programmes included meetings and dialogue sessions on the latest research and innovations in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as discussions on the ethical considerations and responsibilities that accompany the development of artificial intelligence, including justice, transparency, and reducing biases in artificial intelligence systems.
The dialogue sessions illuminated the future of higher education, particularly in the context of the revolution of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Furthermore, they illuminated the evolving role of educators in harnessing the full potential of these technologies in order to prepare students for the requirements of the new world.
It is worth mentioning that the university participated in an introductory exhibition that included dozens of educational institutions. Attendees expressed high praise for the university and its reputation for knowledge, research, and technology in the academic community.
