Amman: The Deans’ Council at the Middle East University has decided upon the promotion of Dr. Khalil Mahmoud Al-Saeed, a member of the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences, to the rank of Professor.
Dr. Al-Saeed holds a PhD from the University of Crete in Greece, where he studied Philosophy of Education in Educational Technology — specifically, Educational Methods and Technology. He also holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Methods from the University of Baghdad in Iraq and a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Sciences from the same university.
What is more, D. Al-Saeed has occupied a number of roles and has a substantial publication record, including numerous research papers and articles that have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has also published a number of papers, including ‘The Effectiveness of Cloud Computing in Developing Cognitive Achievement and Retention of Learning Effectiveness for Educational Technology Course Students’ and ‘The Effectiveness of Blended Learning on the Achievement and Motivation of Educational Technology Course Students at Taibah University’.
It is noteworthy that he has contributed to a number of research projects, including investigations into the impact of cyberbullying and sexting on adolescents in Jordan, the formation of personal competence in education, the efficacy of developing and utilising game-based learning based on the Metaverse, and the influence of video-based virtual reality training on critical thinking and cognitive load.
