Amman: MEU achieved the top spot in the Kingdom for the impact criterion in the global ranking of the Webometric Ranking Universities Index, issued by the Higher Council for Scientific Research (HCSR) in Spain.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Mahadeen, stated that the university ranked Third among Jordanian private universities and seventh among all Jordanian universities for the third consecutive year in the index, which includes over 31,000 university websites from various countries worldwide. Additionally, the university has made significant progress in the global impact criterion, having jumped 806 places in just two years.

The aim of the Webometrics Ranking University is to evaluate the prestige of higher education and scientific research institutions and to promote peer-reviewed scientific articles in an open-access format on the Internet.
