Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering at Middle East University (MEU). The Faculty includes the departments of: Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering & Building Systems, and Renewable Energy. We at MEU offer the best learning, lively, and exuberant student-centered atmosphere. This atmosphere is coupled with intellectual and technological resources of world-class teaching and research institutions.
The Faculty of Engineering at MEU is your faculty of choice. It is uniquely positioned to mentor and educate students to be the technological leaders of tomorrow. Our goal is to prepare our engineers to be problem solvers, project leaders, skilled communicators, and ethical citizens of Jordan and the global community. Our rich learning experience combines intellectual rigor and cross-disciplinary breadth in a warm environment. The faculty’s close collaboration with the University’s exceptional collection of excellent professional faculties creates a wealth of learning opportunities and research options. Hands-on learning and project based activities provide our students with extensive laboratory and design experiences, as well as one-to-one interaction with exceptional faculty at the forefront of their fields. The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
