AMMAN- MEU will host next Wednesday the President of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions Dr. Bashir Al-Zubi to deliver a lecture on the University Proficiency Test and Academic Accreditation for faculty members and students. Through this lecture, MEU seeks to keep pace with the latest development in higher education in order to reach an educational level of high quality. The lecture also came as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to encourage creativity and develop the skills of its staff in the field of higher education.
It is worth mentioning that MEU has obtained advanced positions in the Proficiency Test over the past years. The test is implemented by the HEAC's National Test Center and includes three levels; General, Intermediate and Detailed.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
