AMMAN- MEU’s Yacoub Nasereddin Heritage Revival Center has hosted President of Darb Alhadarat Cultural Forum, Nayef Alnawayseh, to deliver a lecture on the Jordanian Heritage at the University.Alnawayseh explored the features of the Jordanian heritage and its interaction with the prevailing and accelerating changes in Jordanian society. He also highlighted the efforts exerted by the Government and public institutions to preserve the heritage of Jordan.
The lecture was attended by MEU’s faculty members, administrative staff and students in addition to the Head of Yacoub Nasereddin Heritage Revival Center, Dr. Sa’ida Afanah, who briefed the attendees on the efforts and measures taken by the Center on the field of preserving heritage. Yacoub Nasereddin Heritage Revival Center is a specialized center accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Its mission is to contribute towards highlighting cultural and environmental heritage and the historical identity of the Jordanian and Arab societies.

The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
