In collaboration with Al- Haramain Hospital, MEU organized an on campus free medical day for its students, employees and professors. The University President, Professor Mohammad Al-Hileh and Vice President, Dr. Talal Abu-Rjai explained that such activities aim at stressing the importance of community services as well as the collaboration between the different organizations in the Jordanian community. The free medical day included tests of CBC, blood pressure, and diabetes. The participants were offered healthy desserts as well as nutrition magazines.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
