AMMAN- MEU’s Vice President for Humanitarian Faculties, Dr. Mahmoud Al Wadi, has met the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Yang Ronghao, to discuss possible collaboration in the scientific and academic fields between the two sides. During the meeting, Dr. Al Wadi addressed the University's vision, mission, in addition to the distinguished services offered to students.
For his part, the Chinese Cultural Counselor commended the good reputation of the University, stressing the need to communicate to achieve what has been discussed during the meeting. It is worth mentioning that as part of its endeavor to be exposed to international experiences, MEU was chosen as the headquarters of the China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center -Jordan, which was established in 2016. This step was part of a plan to exchange technology between china and Arab countries to enforce the Chinese -Arab collaboration in the fields of technology, scientific studies and research.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
