AMMAN- Former Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Salam Majali said that Jordan and Palestine stand together without receiving any real assistance from the Arab countries to confront Israeli schemes, which include the Judaization of Jerusalem and relocation of US embassy to Jerusalem.
During a lecture, which delivered at MEU in collaboration with the World Affairs Council and attended by Chairman of Arab Universities Governance Council Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin, MEUPresident Prof. Mohamed Al-Haila in addition to experts in the field, Al Majali addressed several issues including Jordan position on the Palestinian issue, the development witnessed by the region and the impact of Jordan stand on its economic situation. Al Majali also called on activating the participation of young people in political and partisan life, and finding solutions andadopting policies to solve the economic and national crisis
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
