Amman - Middle East University signed a memorandum of understanding today with Spark organization. It was signed by the president of the university Dr. Mohammad Al Hileh and the director of the program Erica Bijl.
This memorandum comes in coordination with the International Relations Office at the university with the aim of creating areas of cooperation related to the development of higher education. In this context, Dr. Mohamed Al Hileh said that this cooperation will enable the students of Middle East University to learn about other cultures, and this will prepare the youth and qualify them for the local and international labor market and create job opportunities for them.
The agreements includes holding training courses by experts and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship to train the university’s students on the establishment of small and medium enterprises, and to provide them with the required skills in business administration. It is worth mentioning that Spark is a non-profit independent organization established in 1994 to promote higher education and entrepreneurship and empower young people through training, development and entrepreneurship support.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
