AMMAN – Under the patronage of the Minister of Finance H.E. Dr. Mohammad Al Ississ, Middle East University, represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, launched a number of projects in the fields of research, technology, and entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Jordan Customs. These projects are unprecedented in the Kingdom and represent the fruitful partnership between the public and private sectors.
Dr. Abdelrahman Zuraik, the Director of IEC, said, “The agreement aims to strengthen the pre-existing cooperative relationships between the two parties and utilize them to facilitate the exchange of expertise, we ultimately want to design innovative projects and establish a line of communication with sponsors.” He also added, “The agreement will achieve the two parties’ shared objectives.”
Dr. Zuraik also confirmed, “The two parties will cooperate in the fields of research, technology, and entrepreneurship by finding solutions to the challenges facing the Jordan Customs. We aim to also encourage, support, and develop entrepreneurial ideas and projects in order to establish profitable businesses that will add value to Jordanian and international markets.”
