The Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences at MEU launched the third season of the Holy Quran competition – the university’s reciter, with the aim of discovering the students’ vocal and performing talents, and providing the local community with the sweetest readings, most reverent, and most capable of reaching to people’s hearts and sentiment.
The competition, in which twenty students from different levels and majors at MEU participated, was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Al-Arman, Dr. Zaki Al-Awadi from the Faculty, and Professor Muhammad Youssef.
It is worth to mention that the performance evaluation in the competition was based on: the sweetness of the voice, proper rules of recitation and intonation, as well as good performance. The winners will be honored, and certificates of appreciation will be distributed to them in a ceremonial meeting on this occasion.
