As part of MEU’s celebrations of Jordan’s Centenary, the Deanship of Students Affairs arranged a visit to Aya Center for Special Education, along with several students.
The purpose of the visit was to provide students with the skills they need to deal with people with special needs, increasing ethical and humanitarian trends towards them, emphasising their important role as an integral part of the society, and encouraging collaboration with civil society organizations in order to provide them with services that suit their circumstances.
Visitors were received by the center’s Manager, Mr. Jihad Masaad, who briefed them about the programs and services they provide, during a tour around the center. At the end of the visit, he expressed his acknowledgement of the support MEU provides to the local society. Students gave the residents of the center symbolic gifts before leaving.
