AMMAN – The President of Middle East University, Prof. Ala’aldeen al-Halhouli, received the Golden Standard of the Quality Assurance Certificate, awarded to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, from the Head of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, Prof. Thafer as-Sarayrah.
Prof. as-Sarayrah praised MEU’s efforts to enhance the quality of its programmes and education outputs in accordance with international standards. He expressed his delight with Jordanian universities’ keenness on advancing their reputation and promoting their competitiveness on national and international scales. He also applauded MEU for being an aspiring institution and for obtaining several quality certificates and accreditations.
Prof. al-Halhouli expressed his gratitude towards the Commission’s efforts and commended its mission to ensure the quality of our higher education, as he believes quality to be a culture and an organisational value. He also confirmed the University’s intent on achieving advanced rankings and obtaining further local and international accreditations.
MEU is the proud recipient of the Golden Standard of the Quality Assurance Certificate for educational institutions, and the Golden Standard for academic programmes awarded to the Faculty of Law.
