Amman: The Consultancy, Training, and Language Centre at the Middle East University has realised the effectiveness of mobile editing tools for university students to enhance their academic pursuits, which was an encouragement to organise a workshop that allows university students and members of the local community to access technological applications and their revolutionary functions in story-making using their smartphones.
In this respect, the Director of the Consultancy, Training, and Languages Centre, Prof. Anis Al Mansour, said that this workshop, which comes in cooperation with the Arab Weather, has an important advantage, as with the ubiquity of smartphones among students, many tools allow the execution of editorial orders anytime, anywhere.
He added that “cloud integration” across devices has provided modern tools that enable students to integrate images, charts, and graphs into their documents directly from their smartphones.
In addition to their immediate usefulness, the mobile editing and montage tools presented by Prof. Muhannad Attiat develop essential skills that are transferable to different academic and professional contexts, at a time when effective communication and technological fluency are highly regarded.
