Amman: Fahad Al-Subaihi, a student from the Faculty of Business at Middle East University, has once again emerged as a standout competitor in the field of business following his third-place achievement at the 26th Asian Taekwondo Championships in Vietnam. The competition was attended by 244 male and female athletes representing 31 countries.
Prior to the aforementioned tournament, Al-Subaihi was awarded the silver medal in the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, which were held in the Turkish city of Konya.
In this context, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ayman Al-Khazaleh, asserted that Al-Subaihi’s excellence at the continental level exemplifies the university’s substantial investment in its human capital, particularly in tournaments that necessitate the availability of qualified sports facilities aligned with international standards and an experienced training staff.
Remarking this achievement, Al-Subaihi stated that it has endowed him with the role of an ambassador of seriousness and inspiration. He further observed that the array of sports facilities at the university fostered a mentality of perseverance and progression, thereby enhancing the levels of combat performance.
