Amman: Middle East University has entered into a collaboration with TerraWatt Jordan, an energy consultancy company, under which engineering students will be trained after completing at least 115 hours of study.
This agreement supplements the university’s objective of equipping students with the requisite skills to become proficient practitioners who can effectively contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions, thereby facilitating collaboration between academia and industry. This, in turn, will empower the next generation of engineering leaders.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ayman Al-Nsour, in the presence of the Head of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Dr. Samer Asaad, and faculty member Dr. Bashar Abdul Rahman, and the General Manager of the company, Engineer Saleh Al-Attiyat, in the presence of the company’s delegation.
The agreement provides students with access to industry experts who will offer insights, guidance, and mentorship, as well as share best practices and current trends in the field. This enriches students’ learning experiences and broadens their perspectives.
