
Middle East University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Centre for Packaging to develop an integrated framework that enhances academic and professional performance and establishes sustainable cooperation.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Ayman Awad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design, and Mr. Yousef Abu Attia, Director General of the Centre.
According to the memorandum, the parties agreed on a number of strategic pillars, including close coordination between the two parties in developing, preparing, and implementing quality training programmes consistent with the nature of the centre’s work, ensuring that students and affiliates acquire applied skills that are in line with the renewed market requirements.
In line with this approach, the agreement establishes the principle of research and educational integration by launching joint research projects and activating the cooperative instruction system, which contributes to enriching applied knowledge and leads to qualitative scientific production that keeps pace with the developments in the packaging and industrial design sectors.
