
Middle East University organised a solidarity rally to express its categorical rejection of attempts to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip and to affirm its firm stand behind His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein and the wise Hashemite leadership in defending the Palestinian cause and protecting the legitimate historical rights of the Palestinian people.
The rally was attended by the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin; President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin; deans of faculties; Dean of Student Affairs; faculty members; and a group of students.
In his address, the Vice President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin, emphasised the university’s unified stance in support of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein and the Hashemite leadership, lauding the significant endeavours undertaken by His Majesty in defence of the Palestinian cause on the global stage.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, emphasised in his address that this stance is a resounding affirmation of the university’s profound dedication to national and humanitarian values. He underscored the institution’s conviction in the paramount importance of cultivating students’ awareness of national concerns, particularly in light of the crisis in Gaza, which he described as an existential issue of global concern.
Mohammed Al-Adwan, President of the Student Parliament Union at the university, emphasised that the university, through this event, seeks to refute misconceptions and suspicious claims that call for the displacement of the people of Gaza.
