Amman: The workshop, which was conducted in a practical manner, provided participants, who were representatives of medical institutions and companies, with the requisite skills and knowledge to utilise the MedDRA Medical Dictionary in an efficient and effective manner, particularly in the context of clinical research and regulatory affairs.
The workshop, which was attended by 24 pharmacists and hosted by Middle East University, aimed to facilitate continuous learning and adaptive mechanisms for those aspiring to work in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulatory sectors.
Those in attendance were given an insight into the structure and purpose of MedDRA, including its role in the coding of medical information and the facilitation of communication across regulatory bodies and industries. In an interconnected and dynamic world, the dictionary represents a unique opportunity.
Furthermore, the workshop was attended by representatives from the Royal Medical Services, Al-Hikma Pharmaceuticals, MS Pharma, the University of Jordan, and Zarqa Private University.
