
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Middle East University has signed a collaboration agreement with the Jordanian Society for Scientific Research, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship to develop students’ capabilities, develop their skills, and motivate them to actively contribute in the fields of scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The agreement focuses on organising a series of specialised training workshops, qualification courses, and guidance programmes under the supervision of experts and specialists, who are concerned with sharpening students’ skills and preparing them to enter the field of applied scientific research and entrepreneurship.
The agreement also pays special attention to sponsoring entrepreneurial student projects and providing the necessary technical and logistical support to transform innovative ideas into viable production projects.
Commenting on the partnership, Prof. Anis Al Mansour, the university’s legal advisor, said that the signing of this agreement represents a milestone in terms of consolidating effective partnerships between academic and research institutions, adding, “We are proud of this cooperation, which will constitute a real asset in the process of empowering students and refining their skills, in line with our vision to create a stimulating academic environment that contributes to the production and commercialisation of knowledge.”
In her response, the President of the Jordanian Society for Scientific Research, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship, His Excellency Dr. Reda Al-Khawaldeh, explained that this agreement embodies the integration of roles between different sectors in order to enable Jordanian youth to transform their scientific and practical aspirations into tangible achievements.
